Our Services

Substation Engineering

Power Partner offers specialized engineering services for new Medium Voltage (MV) and High Voltage (HV) substations, focusing on comprehensive design and planning. Our expertise ensures reliable and efficient power distribution throughout all stages of the engineering process in order to optimize your power infrastructure for maximum reliability and efficiency.

The engineering process for new MV/HV substations specifically includes:

  1. Single-line diagram: Develop a single-line diagram that illustrates the substation’s major components, including transformers, circuit breakers, busbars, switchgear, and protection systems.
  2. Equipment selection: Select appropriate equipment based on the project requirements, including transformers, circuit breakers, disconnector switches, surge arresters, protection relays as well as the control and automation systems.
  3. Control and protection system design: Design the control and protection systems, including relays, control panels, communication networks, and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
  4. Electrical calculations: Perform various electrical calculations, including load flow analysis, short-circuit analysis, CT & VT burden calculations, coordination studies, and voltage drop calculations, to ensure proper system performance.

It is also important to note that our engineering services are always complying with international standards such as IEEE, IEC, IPTO & HEDNO, and local utility guidelines.
